Man Utd to offer Foster in bid for Tottenham’s Berbatov
tribalfootball.com – February 24, 2008
Manchester United are ready to offer Ben Foster to Tottenham in
part-exchange for striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The People says Spurs boss Juande Ramos has made finding a
top-class keeper his priority and United hope that will be the key
to landing the Bulgarian striker.
United chief Sir Alex Ferguson will offer £20m plus Foster for
Berbatov.
Ramos has told England’s fallen idol Paul Robinson he can leave
in the summer – even though he earned a recall for Thursday’s
UEFA Cup clash with Slavia Prague and is set
to play in today’s Carling Cup Final.
